weird weekend. ending on a rather blue note, just kinda feeling twisted. trying to up my shit by checking some new (at least for me) tunage. downloaded the newer atlas sound album this eve, logos - really digging what i've heard so far, particularly the over catchy "walkabout" feat pandabear from animal collective. catchy, upbeat experimental electro-jam with a twist of vintage surf rock inspired feel good go go pop. digging it.
also put together quite the intricate mega old school playlist this evening, closest thing to a mixtape i've worked on since, well, actual casette tapes. . . it was hella chixx mix.

now this is just a glimpse into the 119 angsty playlist. . . there's a crap ton of tori amos, fiona apple and aimee man on there, as well as a handful of pretty girls make graves, brazilian girls, letters to cleo, le tigre, garbage, veruca salt, nina gordon, alanis morissette, the noisettes, amanda palmer, amy winehouse, ani difranco, elastica, the distillers, etc etc etc.
