jodi interviews slug : the awkward and unflattering webcam rendition.

ieeee. it happened. i called slug all nervous geeking out (as you can see in the first vid, the introduction which is basically me being the world's biggest loser geek nerd in the world - if you're interested in the interview itself, please skip this vid. it's more so so you can all make fun of me for being such a retard). he didn't answer. i mumbled for a couple minutes and then he called me. seeing 'slug' show up on my cell caller id was pretty surreal, i gotta admit. i'm talking into a different direction b/c i videotaped myself on my handheld camera in addition to my webcam so i had insurance in case one cam didn't pick up the audio from my speakerphone.

god i'm a dork. but slug put me at least 80% more at ease than i would have been when he called me back and the first thing he says is: 'sorry i missed your call, i was pooping.' oh, slug. such a great interview. didn't get to ask all the questions i wanted to, but i def got more than enough material to transcribe/edit and form into my article. this is one of the many reasons why i wanted to be a journalist when i grew up. hopefully my next assignment will be aziz ansari so then i can profess my love for him. (slug is taken with a wife and baby, oh well). you might wanna pop in headphones for sound quality, my speakerphone is a bit distorted and quiet.
