i am excited and optimistic, gang. after 2+ months of unemployment, i finally feel like i'm on the right track. no jobby job just yet, but i feel as if i'm in the right direction of meeting the right people.
tomorrow i start my first day on my internship with the congress theatre. probs just doing promotions stuff, distributing flyers, posters, whatnot. i think i'll be in charge of the theater's facebook page and assisting with random tasks but the dude i'm meeting with tomorrow told me that there are opportunities to work for cash here and there either at merch tables or box office, etc. this is kinda what i've been wanting to do forever, so i'm excited.
i also got an additional last minute assignment for one of the new sites i'm writing for in addition to 3 assignments in the bag for the mag connection. meaning: sorry, detectives benson and stabler, i gots sum werds to write and sum peeps to meet. a reason to change outta my jammies before 3:00 pm.
wish me luck, dudes. (although i doubt i'll need it).
