summertime's a comin'

lots o new releases to get excited for summer soundtrackin'. or at least, lots-o-good singles, anyway. there's a handful of tracks i just can't get enough of. and since it looks like despite my efforts, the jobhunt may take a little longer than i originally anticipated, i may as well enjoy the sunshine and make the most of getting outdoors and have some fun.

here's the beats that make me hop around my apartment, singing at the top o' my lungs:

5. the bird and the bee - i heard it on the radio

7. little boots - new in town

8. lcd soundsystem - drunk girls

9. peter wolf crier - crutch and cane

10. phantogram - when i'm small

and of course, any new robyn as it leaks (which has been frequently - new album in june, yippee!! AND she's gonna represent at p4k!! JOE D DANCE PARTEEE!) and as always, modest mouse - good news for people who love bad news is my timeless forever infinity summer album.

music makes me happy.
